Speeding Ticket

It is likely to get the speeding tickets when we are exceeding the speeding limits. This mistake may happen to many, but there are still some people who are considerably safe drivers as well. It is good to observe the posted speed and road signs on the road to be away of tickets. If you pulled over by the law enforcement officer, how to get through it with just a warning and without a speeding ticket? Because you are still dealing with the human beings with heart and mind same as yours. You can appeal them as such you'll be surprised by the results.

Suppose if you get the wrong ticket? Some people pay the ticket if a police person charges on speeding or on signal breaking wrongly. Then you must not accept and pay, as it will increase your insurance premium. You must go to court and get the ticket cleared from your name.

This may take more time and day off from work, but it is better than having a bad record in your name. Sometimes people think paying for a ticket is easy way out of trouble, but it will result in a very expensive outcome.

• Never ever come out of the car, unless officer asks you.

• Don't start asking questions when the officer comes to you.
• Don't argue with the officer, it may leave bad impression.
• Don't explain the long story.
• Do not talk back.
• If you are tensed and jumped out of the car and walk around, you are most likely to make the officer suspicious.
• Don't straight away tell that you were speeding, you may cost a lot for this. It is better to be calm and wait for the officer to state why you are pulled over.

Dos, when pulled over on the way:

• Turn off your car and turn the interior lights of your car on and try to remain calm.

• Be polite and do what exactly officer ask you to.
• Give your information honestly whatever he asked.
• If you broke the Law, admit it and praise the officer for being completely right to pull you. Some officers says that officer's job is pride worthy. So, if you satisfy the pride factor, he may leave you without punishment.
• Ask the Officer to give reason for pulling you, but not in a argumentative way. Because you may not know the reason as to why he did pull you.
• Once you develop the rapport; beg for mercy without hurting your dignity. There is no need to grovel. Let the officer know its a big deal for you.
• It is good to leave the scene as a non-memorable and nice person.
• You have received the ticket and you still want out: Call the officer and ask for a meeting, talk to him/her politely about the ticket you got recently. Clearance of the ticket depends on the way you explain the reason. Remember, officer has full authority to drop your ticket.
• Your primary concern is to keep your ticket off your insurance.
• If you cannot win over the officer or if you get the wrong ticket? you can beat the ticket in the court.
• Make the process as smoother as possible. It is more likely to get just a warning in spite of a ticket.
